Job summary

Normet is seeking a senior technical leader to guide injection, grouting and underground support projects across tunnelling, mining and infrastructure sectors. You will lead technical solutions, develop methodologies and support sales with expert guidance.

The role emphasizes building a capable technical team, aligning R&D and QA/QC with field projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and delivering differentiated, reliable solutions for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Experience: 15 years minimum in construction chemicals, underground construction & injection and ground support.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutions for injection grouting, rock improvement, consolidation, contact grouting, water cut-off and underground rehabilitation applications.
• Develop application methodologies, method statements and technical recommendations based on site conditions and project requirements.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex underground technical challenges.
• Provide technical support to sales and project teams for major tunnelling, underground, mining and infrastructure projects.
• Lead product trials, site demonstrations, validations and technical approvals with customers, consultants and contractors.
• Identify jointly with Sales team project opportunities and support the business in developing technically sound and commercially viable solutions.
• Build strong technical relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Benchmark with competitor's offering technologies and products and identify opportunities for differentiated solutions.
• Work closely with R&D, QA/QC, production and procurement teams for product scale-up, validation and commercialization.
• Ensure compliance of products and application systems with relevant standards, project specifications and customer requirements.
• Develop and standardize testing, evaluation and trial protocols for injection and underground support products.
• Review and maintain technical documents including TDS, MSDS/SDS, method statements, trial reports, product approval documents and project-specific technical submissions.
• Drive consistent technical practices and documentation across projects and locations.
• Build and mentor a strong technical team specializing in injection, grouting and underground support applications.
• Conduct technical training and knowledge-sharing sessions for sales, technical service and project teams.
• Develop application expertise and best practices based on project learnings and field experience.
• Promote a culture of safety, technical excellence, customer focus and continuous improvement.

1. Injection & Underground Technical Solutions
