Job summary

CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the full employee lifecycle across blue- and white-collar segments, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and compliance.

You will oversee performance development, employee relations, and global mobility with focus on visa processing for assignments abroad. Strong leadership, Indian labor law knowledge, and HRMS proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
  • Experience of working and collaborating in a global business
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, grievance handling, visa processing (B1, C1), and exit management.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with HRMS tools, MS Office Suite, and digital documentation systems to streamline processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under deadlines.

Responsibilities

The Role:

The HR Manager will oversee the full employee lifecycle for both blue‑collar and white‑collar workforce segments, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll, compliance, visa processing, and exit management. This role requires strong leadership, adaptability, and the ability to balance the needs of diverse employee groups while supporting global mobility requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Manage hiring for shop‑floor/technical staff (blue collar) and professional/office staff (white collar).
  • Design tailored onboarding programs to integrate employees at all levels effectively.
  • Conduct induction sessions, training schedules, and orientation programs.
  • Ensure completion of joining formalities such as documentation, payroll setup, and benefits enrollment.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring new employees feel welcomed and engaged.

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR matters.
  • Address grievances, mediate conflicts, and ensure timely resolution of employee concerns.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to strengthen workplace culture.

Performance Management & Development

  • Oversee performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on career development.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Manage payroll processing and benefits administration in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Benchmark compensation structures to ensure competitiveness and fairness.
  • Monitor HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, and productivity.

Compliance & Policy Development

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, SEZ regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Liaise with auditors, government authorities, and external consultants as required.

Global Mobility & Visa Processing

  • Manage visa applications and documentation for employees traveling abroad (e.g., USA, UK, Canada).
  • Coordinate with external agencies, consulates, and government authorities to ensure timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee travel, work permits, and immigration compliance.
  • Provide guidance to employees on visa requirements, documentation, and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with foreign exchange and RBI regulations related to international assignments.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement events such as team‑building activities, workshops, and recognition programs.
  • Coordinate corporate events including annual functions, training sessions, and leadership conferences.
  • Manage logistics such as venue booking, catering, travel, and accommodation for participants.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of events.
  • Track budgets and evaluate event outcomes to improve future programs.

HR Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate employee records including attendance, leave, and personnel data.
  • Prepare HR dashboards and reports for senior management review.
  • Leverage HRMS tools and digital platforms to streamline HR operations.

Exit Management

  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify retention opportunities.
  • Ensure smooth clearance processes including handover of assets, final settlements, and documentation.
  • Provide insights to management on attrition trends and workforce planning.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements during employee separation.
