The Corporate Institute in Mumbai is seeking a Manager Global Financial Reporting to lead the consolidation process for a large, multi-entity group with domestic and international subsidiaries.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), especially Ind AS 110 for consolidation.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and reporting process for a multi-entity group.
  • Coordinate with finance teams across domestic and international subsidiaries to collect, validate and consolidate financial information.
  • Review intercompany transactions, eliminations and consolidation adjustments to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors and internal stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.

Job description

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a Manager Global Financial Reporting to manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements for a large multi-entity organization with domestic and international subsidiaries.

Total Experience: 2 – 8 years

The role requires strong expertise in Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), particularly Ind AS 110 Consolidated Financial Statements, along with hands-on experience in group reporting, financial consolidation, and statutory reporting.

The incumbent will work closely with finance teams across subsidiaries to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for a large group comprising 50+ Indian and foreign subsidiaries.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and reporting process in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Ensure compliance with Ind AS 110 Consolidated Financial Statements and other applicable accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with finance teams across domestic and international entities to collect, validate, and consolidate financial information.
  • Review intercompany transactions, balances, eliminations, and consolidation adjustments to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities within defined timelines.
  • Analyze consolidated financial results, identify reporting issues, and recommend corrective actions where required.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for senior management, auditors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors and internal stakeholders during audits and financial reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes, controls, and standardization across group entities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, governance standards, and reporting timelines.
  • Support finance transformation initiatives and implementation of reporting best practices.
