A leading consultancy firm in Mumbai seeks a finance professional to support financial accounting and reporting activities. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and assisting in audits. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in technical accounting with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience of Consolidation is beneficial.
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the quarterly and annual closure of consolidated financial accounts and reports for the Group.
• Prepare, maintain and execute the reconciliation of consolidated ledger accounts and financial statements (balance sheet, profit-and-loss statements, capital expenditure schedules, intercompany schedules).
• Support of closing of Consolidated financial information on monthly accounts.
• Preparation of various Consolidated financial information reports for assigned areas for management review.
• Analyse periodically Subsidiaries financial position and net working capital
• Implement periodical reviews on the reporting packages made by local finance managers
• Taking responsibility for the smooth running of the audit process for the areas assigned.
• Assist in preparation of various accounting and audit notes and support on variety of specific projects as required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical accounting and financial reporting (with basic knowledge of IND AS) obtained in a major multinational group or a consultancy firm
• Experience of Consolidation would be beneficial
• Excellent command of Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, presentation and communication skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and concise guidance and instructions to subsidiaries, other Group functions and Departments
