Role description

In short: Coordinating, managing and strengthening the various aspects of Procam, social or otherwise, through its sporting events/products, including special race categories, special initiatives (for example: inclusion, awards nights, etc.), and the philanthropy pillar. This will include strengthening existing initiatives and opening up new avenues of engagement of strategic significance, driving value to participants, partnering institutions, the cause attached and the community at large, thereby increasing the overall community engagement of the client group exponentially.

Key deliverables

1. Working on and strengthening the ‘Inclusion’ objective of the client, including the two participative categories of Procam promoted events – Senior Citizens’ Run and Champions With Disability. This involves cultivating partnerships with social voluntary organisations, strategic planning, drawing up checklists, timelines and ensuring last mile implementation through coordinated internal and external efforts.
2. Coordination with existing philanthropy partners across events, assisting AVP in creation of the philanthropy module to enhance reach and fundraising at events, including drawing up related checklists with timelines and ensuring last mile implementation through coordinated internal and external efforts.
3. Communication strategy and plan – created in conjunction with philanthropy partners and Inclusion allies to promote initiatives using various media at the event’s disposal (print, radio, digital, outdoor, PR).
4. Data management and mining – collation of relevant information related to the event for the future and inference of the same.
5. Ensuring timely on-ground coordination for Procam’s deliverables.
6. Research on best practices/innovations adopted by distance running events and other events globally.
7. Assisting in ideating, coordinating and conducting a philanthropy awards function post each race day, within 60 days of event conclusion (or as decided), including assembling the post–Event Docket of each event.
