Job summary

Venturapranas Accounting seeks a high-caliber Manager to lead our Bookkeeping & Compliance vertical, guiding a cross-border team and delivering accurate financial operations across US, India, and Singapore.

You will partner with clients, drive MIS insights, coordinate audits, and champion process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

The role requires CA/CPA, strong communication, and a proven track record in outsourcing or shared services.

Qualifications

• Qualified Indian CA or US CPA (mandatory).
• Strong foundation in accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS exposure preferred).
• Proven experience in bookkeeping, MIS reporting, financial close, and audit coordination.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with international stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate across time zones and cultures.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping for clients across US, India, and Singapore.
• Ensure timely and accurate book write-ups, reconciliations, and ledger management.
• Supervise monthly MIS preparation and closure with actionable insights.
• Support delivery of virtual CFO services, including financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Translate financial data into strategic insights for client decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
• Manage and review multi-country payroll processing for global clients.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting standards.
• Coordinate with external advisors where required.
• Lead and coordinate statutory, internal, and client audits across geographies.
• Ensure audit readiness through proper documentation, reconciliations, and control frameworks.
• Act as a key liaison between clients, auditors, and internal teams.
• Address audit queries and drive timely closure of audit observations.
• Act as a primary point of contact for global clients.
• Build strong relationships with US-based teams and stakeholders.
• Lead client calls, present MIS reports, and address queries proactively.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants and analysts.
• Drive productivity, accountability, and continuous skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Ensure adoption of best-in-class tools and accounting systems.

Role & responsibilities

1. Financial Operations & Bookkeeping

• Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping for clients across US, India, and Singapore.
• Ensure timely and accurate book write-ups, reconciliations, and ledger management.
• Supervise and review monthly MIS preparation and closure with actionable insights.
• Maintain high standards of financial accuracy, compliance, and documentation.

2. CFO & Advisory Support
