Qualifications

• MBA (Finance) or CA/ICWA qualification with relevant industry experience.
• 2–6 years in Plant Finance, FP&A, Costing or Business Partnering in manufacturing sectors.
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP FI/CO modules and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with plant operations leadership to monitor unit profitability, analyze variances and KPIs.
• Prepare and present monthly management dashboards, plant performance metrics and financial reporting for leadership.
• Lead AOP budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts and long‑term planning for Knits manufacturing unit.
• Deep-dive into CM costs, fabric utilization, waste and labor efficiency to identify cost savings.
• Monitor inventory turns and optimize working capital to maximize cash flow.
• Maintain internal controls, standard costing and month‑end closures in line with MIS.

We are seeking an energetic, analytically driven Finance Business Partner to drive manufacturing finance, operational cost optimization, and financial governance for our Knits manufacturing units.

In this role, you will act as a strategic financial advisor to plant management and business leadershipturning complex floor-level operational data into actionable financial insights, optimizing product costing, and driving profitability across production lines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Partnering & Profitability

• Partner directly with plant operations leadership to monitor unit-level profitability, analyze financial variances, and track key operational KPIs.
• Prepare and present monthly management dashboards, plant performance metrics, and actionable financial reporting for leadership decision-making.

2. Operational Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead annual operating plan (AOP) budgeting, quarterly rolling forecasts, and long-term business planning for the Knits manufacturing unit.
• Track production spend against budgets and conduct continuous variance analysis to prevent cost overruns.

3. Line-Level Costing & Cost Optimization

• Deep-dive into manufacturing metrics including Cut & Make (CM) costs, fabric utilization ratios, trim yields, wastage, and operator labor efficiency to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive shop-floor cost benchmarking and support process improvement initiatives to maximize gross margins.

4. Working Capital & Inventory Management

• Monitor and control inventory turn days (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods).
• Optimize working capital drivers at the plant level to maximize operational cash flows.

5. Financial Governance & Reporting

• Maintain rigorous internal financial controls, standard costing frameworks, and month-end financial closure processes.
• Ensure compliance with corporate MIS standards, audit requirements, and reporting guidelines.

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Education: MBA (Finance) from a reputable institute, or Qualified CA / ICWA.
• Experience: 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Plant Finance, FP&A, Costing, or Business Partnering within Manufacturing, Textiles, Apparel, FMCG, or Industrial sectors.
• Technical Expertise:
  
  • Mandatory hands-on proficiency in SAP (FI/CO modules).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and financial modeling capability (VBA/Power Query/Power BI is a plus).
• Mindset: Strong analytical acumen combined with a collaborative, commercial, and business-partnering approach to shop-floor operations.
