Responsibilities

• Support annual operating plan (AOP), budgets and capex budgets.

Job description

To support the organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. The role will be responsible for generating actionable financial insights, monitoring business performance, evaluating profitability, and supporting management in strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Support the preparation and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), annual budgets, and capital expenditure budgets.


• Prepare and monitor monthly and quarterly financial forecasts.


• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support business planning and investment decisions.


• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify areas requiring corrective action.

2. Financial Analysis & Business Partnering

• Work closely with business and functional teams to understand financial performance and operational requirements.


• Analyze product, business segment, and cost profitability to identify opportunities for margin improvement.


• Conduct financial feasibility, ROI, and NPV analyses for business initiatives and capital investments.


• Provide financial insights to support business decisions and improve overall financial performance

3. MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, management dashboards, and financial performance summaries.


• Conduct variance analysis of actual performance against budget and forecasts.


• Track key financial and operational performance indicators.


• Present relevant financial insights and recommendations to management.

4. Process Improvement & Reporting

• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.


• Support automation of reports and enhance data accuracy and reporting efficiency.


• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely availability and accuracy of financial information.

Educational Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.

Experience

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis.


• Prior experience in a manufacturing organization is mandatory.

Technical Skills

• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.


• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.


• Working knowledge of SAP and financial planning/reporting tools.


• Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.


• Strong understanding of financial statements, cost analysis, and profitability metrics.
