Job summary

Emerson Electric Co in Pune is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Services Group. The role involves month-end closure, reporting, balance sheet analysis, and MIS delivery, with emphasis on automation and Power BI dashboards.

You should have MBA Finance or Finance degree with up to 2 years’ experience, and skills in Power BI and Power Automate; the team values autonomy, accuracy, and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • MBA Finance or Finance Professional degree with up to 2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • CA/CMA/MBA Finance qualifications are a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

  • Support in Month End closure activities.
  • Prepare and publish Weekly Flash - sales, bookings, and backlog reporting.
  • Preparation and analysis of cost center reports and provide commentary.
  • Work on various centralized reports - preparing and analyzing.
  • Drive automation & continuous improvement for standardizations of current process.
  • Refresh and publish PBI Dashboards.
  • Prepare and Analyse Balance Sheet schedules with supporting.
  • Prepare and publish MIS reports.
  • Support in contingency as a back-up within team.
  • Support in Audit.
  • Support on Ad-hoc requests and analysis.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement culture within group.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Fresher Finance Professional degree or MBA Finance with 2 years of experience
  • Power BI, Power Automate and other technical skillsets
  • Analytical thinking ability and good team player
  • Suggesting and implementing improvements to the processes
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, CMA, MBA Finance
  • Basic understanding of Accounting Principles and US GAAP
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
