Emerson in Pune, India is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop automated test systems for industrial automation products. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team to translate schematics into robust test setups and ensure quality through validated test plans.

You should have BE in Electronics Engineering and 5+ years of experience, with strong LabVIEW, TestStand, and C# skills. This role offers hands-on hardware and software development in a global engineering

Qualifications

If you are an Electronics Manufacturing Test Engineer looking for a great opportunity to grow, develop and expand your skills professionally, Emerson has an exciting must-see opportunity for you based in our Pune location. As a Test Engineer, you will be a part of a team responsible for new product development of industrial automation products & bring new technology into the industrial space.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will:
  • Work as part of a multi-discipline team.
  • Develop automated test systems using LabVIEW, Test Stand.
  • Collaborate with other team members to interpret schematics and integrate test solutions.
  • Understand circuit design and modifications to support test setups.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test systems to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Document test procedures, results, and system configurations for compliance and knowledge sharing.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in test automation and hardware validation.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure overall system requirements are fulfilled with a cost-effective and high-quality approach.
  • Develop and execute electronics test plans for verification and validation.
WHO YOU ARE:

You are a hands-on, technically focused engineer who confidently develops and actualizes Test setups. You push yourself to achieve results and partner with others to drive work to completion while providing timely, relevant information to individuals across the organization. You are a problem solver who seeks new approaches.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • BE in Electronics Engineering or related level of experience plus certifications
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Good working knowledge of electronic test equipment including scopes, meters, signal generators, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with Basic analog, digital circuit and industrial communication protocols (e.g., HART, SPI, UART and ethernet).
  • Strong proficiency in LabVIEW and Test Stand.
  • Solid C# programming skills for application and tool development.
  • Basic knowledge of schematic reading to understand hardware designs.
  • Basic Layout design understanding.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in both hardware and software domains.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Experience working in a global engineering environment.
  • Experience in developing hardware for product that involves pneumatic actuators control valve interface will be an added advantage.
  • Strong exposure to Life cycle Management of products.
