Job summary

Godrej Industries Group is seeking an experienced Accounts and Finance Manager to oversee financial activities for our real estate division. You will maintain records, prepare reports, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.

The role covers accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, internal controls, MIS reporting, and vendor/customer management, with leadership of the finance team and coordination with auditors.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in real estate.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, P&L, and other reports.
• Manage day-to-day accounting: bank transactions, petty cash, vendor bills.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing of TDS, GST, etc.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts with cross-department collaboration.
• Conduct financial analysis and present insights for strategic decisions.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor/customer reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits.
• Prepare MIS reports including cash flow and aging reports.
• Lead and develop the finance team; ensure efficient workflow.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts and Finance Manager to oversee and manage the financial activities of our real estate company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives.

Role Specifications

• Financial Management:
  Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Accounting Operations:
  Manage day-to-day accounting functions such as bank transactions, petty cash, and vendor bill processing.
  Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Taxation and Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparing and filing returns for TDS, GST, and other applicable taxes.
  Coordinate with tax consultants for resolving taxation-related queries and issues.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
  Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with other departments.
  Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis and recommendations for improvement.
• Financial Analysis:
  Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management review.
• Vendor and Customer Management:
  Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors and collections from customers.
  Perform vendor and customer reconciliations and manage aging reports.
• Internal Controls and Audits:
  Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
• MIS Reporting:
  Prepare and present management information system (MIS) reports, including cash flow statements, customer aging reports, and vendor aging reports.
• Team Management:
  Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, ensuring efficient workflow and performance.
  Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
• Banking and Treasury:
  Manage banking relationships and ensure efficient banking operations.
  Oversee cash management, fund transfers, and bank reconciliations.

Qualification & Experience
