Job summary

Adani Realty in Mumbai seeks a Senior Finance Controller to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for real estate projects and business units. You will ensure timely financial statements, MIS reports, and dashboards.

Drive governance, internal controls, risk management, and compliance with statutory requirements while managing project cash flows and treasury activities. CA with 12–18 years in real estate finance is required.

Qualifications

• CA mandatory; MBA Finance preferred.
• 12-18 years in finance controllership, financial planning & analysis, or project finance, preferably within real estate/infrastructure/construction.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for real estate projects and business units.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.
• Monitor project profitability, cost control, revenue recognition, and financial performance against approved budgets.
• Drive financial governance, internal controls, risk management, and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Manage project cash flows, fund utilization, working capital, and treasury-related activities.
• Partner with business, project, procurement, sales, and leadership teams to provide financial insights and decision support.
• Oversee audits, tax compliance, statutory filings, and coordination with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Evaluate investment proposals, project feasibility studies, financial models, and business cases.
• Lead and mentor finance teams, ensuring capability development and adherence to organizational policies.
• Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, digitization, and enhancement of financial reporting systems

• 12-18 years of experience in finance controllership, financial planning & analysis, or project finance, preferably within the real estate, infrastructure, or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, and internal controls.
• Experience in managing large-scale real estate projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced financial analysis tools.
• Strong leadership, business partnering, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
