Job summary

Kalpataru Limited is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience in the Real Estate sector. The role focuses on financial accounting, audits, RERA compliance, SAP FICO/HANA, and treasury management, with leadership of cross-functional teams and strong analytical capabilities.

You will manage project finance, financial planning, compliance, and governance, delivering precise financial insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years post-qualification experience in Real Estate.
• Experience in financial accounting, audits, RERA compliance, treasury management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations and finalization of accounts for assigned entities.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct periodic ledger scrutiny, trial balance review, and financial analysis.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures in SAP.
• Coordinate and manage Statutory Audits, Internal Audits, and other regulatory audits.
• Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance requirements.
• Monitor accounting and financial compliance across all assigned projects/entities.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor preparation and review of Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Oversee cash flow and fund flow management for projects and entities.
• Coordinate with treasury teams for fund utilization, reporting, and financial planning.
• Prepare project finance reports, feasibility studies, and due diligence reports for management decisions.
• Support fundraising, financial structuring, and project evaluation activities.
• Analyze project performance and provide financial insights to leadership.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly and annual RERA filings.
• Monitor compliance with all project-related statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls.
• Improve operational efficiency through system and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal audit recommendations and corrective action plans.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
