Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited is seeking a seasoned finance professional to manage Plant Accounts and drive accurate MIS reporting. You will monitor expenses, vendor bills, GL aging, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments to ensure monthly closings are timely and precise.

The role requires 10–12 years of manufacturing plant accounting experience, strong SAP FI and MS Office skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or ICWAI with accounting expertise.
• Minimum 10–12 years of manufacturing plant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of SAP FI and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• MIS generation for Plant Accounts.
• Monitor and analyze plant expenses, supplier bills, GL aging, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure timely monthly closings for Plant accounts.
• Prepare data for quarterly/annual audits per formats and timelines.
• Ensure adherence to DoA for Plant expenses.
• Monitor compliance for Plant Accounts.
• Initiate process improvements and digitisation projects for Plant Accounts.
• Monitor adherence to RCMS and SOPs for Plant Accounts.

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. MIS generation for Plant Accounts
2. Monitoring and analysis of Plant related Expenses, suppliers & contractors bills, GL scrutiny & aging reports and coordination with concerned deptts. for implementing corrective actions
3. Ensuring timely & accurately completion of monthly closing activities related to Plant accounts
4. Organising information for quarterly/annual audits as per given formats & timelines
5. Ensuring adherence of DoA applicable to Plant expenses
6. Monitoring adherence to compliances applicable to Plant Accounts
7. Initiating process improvements and digitisation projects for Plant Accounts
8. Monitoring adherence to Risk & Control Matric (RCMs) & SOPs related to Plant Accounts

Experience

Working experience of 10-12 years in a manufacturing unit
