TiE Hyderabad is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Events Manager who can translate ideas into memorable experiences. The Events Manager will lead the end-to-end planning and execution of the production and logistics part of TiE Hyderabad’s flagship programs, monthly engagements, member mixers, leadership series, investor connects, masterclasses, and major annual conferences. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys orchestrating high-quality events, managing multiple vendors, and creating environments that enable founders, investors, and business leaders to connect, learn, and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute events such as TiE Open Mic, workshops, masterclasses, investor connects, leadership series, golf tournaments, roadshows, and large-format summits.
- Create detailed event flows, run-of-show documents, scripts, checklists, and coordination trackers.
- Coordinate closely with TiE Hyderabad Team, Charter Members, and Committee Chairs for each event. Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external collaborators.
- Liaise with vendors, production teams, performers, and service providers to ensure seamless delivery.
- Oversee registrations, RSVPs, attendee communication, and on-ground event operations.
- Ensure that every event supports TiE Hyderabad’s mission of fostering entrepreneurship.
- Maintain operational SOPs, timelines, and processes for consistent execution quality.
- Prepare event budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure cost efficiency.
- Track expenses, vendor invoices, and payment schedules with financial discipline.
- Collaborate with the social media and marketing team to drive event promotions and outreach.
- Ensure brand consistency across event creatives, backdrops, standees, and collateral.
- Support post-event communication, including highlights, thank-you notes, and social media updates.
- Capture learnings and prepare event summary reports.
- Coordinate for photography, videography, and media coverage.
- Maintain event records and data for future planning and analysis.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in event management, program management, corporate events, or related roles.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask across concurrent events.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Creative mindset with high ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), spreadsheets, and event management tools.
- Familiarity with the startup or entrepreneurial ecosystem is an added advantage.

- Experience working with CXOs, founders, investors, speakers, and high-profile guests.
- Ability to independently manage end-to-end events with minimal supervision.
- Strong vendor management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Energetic, resourceful, and comfortable in fast-paced, high-energy environments.
