Job summary

You'll coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure integration and clash-free delivery in a global project environment. Excellent communication in English is essential for multi-disciplinary teamwork.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 12–15 years of ELV design experience in building or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of IS/IEC standards and ELV codes required.
• Experience with 3D review using Navisworks is mandatory.
• Ability to coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design ELV systems (BMS, Chiller plant automation, Fire detection, PA, Telecom, Security, Access Control, WLD, Vesda) for centers or industrial facilities.
• Coordinate design integration and site execution with stakeholders.
• Ensure clash-free coordination with Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Civil disciplines.
• Review drawings, technical specs, BOQs, and shop drawings; prepare Basis of Design.
• Supervise installation, testing and commissioning of ELV systems.

• Designof BMS, Chiller plant Automation, Fire detection, PA , Telecom andSecurity system, Access Control System, WLD, Rodent, Vesda system for DataCenter or Industrial Projects.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants,contractors, and vendors for design integration and Site Execution.
• Ensure clash-free coordination of ELV systemswith Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and Civil disciplines.
• Review ELV drawings, technical specifications,BOQs, and shop drawings.
• Prepare/ review Basis of Design
• BMS IOsummary, Sequence of operations for various systems, cause & effectmatrix for Fire alarm system
• Supervise and Ensure execution of installation,testing, and commissioning of:
• Visibilityand having Good market strategy on the different makes available for BMS,Security, ACS, WLD, Vesda Systems.
• Educationalqualification BE/B. Tech in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering
  
• 12–15years of experience in handling ELV Design activities in Building orIndustrial projects.
• Self-drivenwith good management & reporting capabilities.
• Knowledgeof 3D engineering, proficiency in review of 3D models using Navisworks ismandatory.
• Knowledgeof ELV codes and standards is mandatory.
• Knowledgeof IS / IEC standards. Hands on Installation or Commissioning Knowledgeprior would be added advantage.
• Applicationof 3D review software like Navisworks
• Applicationof other supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat.
• Competentuser of MS Office 365 Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Good learning andunderstanding capability
• Abilityto work both individually and as part of a multi - disciplinary team. Self- driven with good management & reporting capabilities.
• GoodEnglish written and verbal skills & ability to interact / coordinate,in a global environment are essential
