Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai is seeking an ELV engineer to design and integrate ELV systems including FAS, ACS, BMS, EPABX, LAN/WAN, CCTV and PA systems. The role involves software configuration, OEM server setup, and networking with Windows OS.

It requires active collaboration with clients, vendors and site teams to ensure successful installation, commissioning and QA. You will contribute to RFQ preparation, vendor assessments and approvals, while ensuring seamless integration of ELV with related

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of communication protocols & interface with other systems.
• Experience in modern ELV systems and software configuration.
• Ability to configure multiple OEM servers.
• Exposure to installation, testing and commissioning processes.
• Experience with RFQ preparation and vendor technical evaluation.
• Coordination with clients, engineers and other contractors.
• Knowledge of 3D modelling and clash resolution.
• Experience with BMS integration and QA documentation (FDS, DDS).

• Interface sign-off with system engineers and contractors.
• Coordinate with site team and vendors for technical discussions and approvals.

Job description

Design of ELV systems( FAS, ACS, BMS, EPABX, LAN/WAN,CCTV, PA System etc.) in various buildings.Exposure to installation, testing commissioning will be added advantage

• Thorough Knowledge of Communication protocols & interface with other systems
• Working knowledge of modern ELV systems and should be able to do software configuration.
• Must be able to do configuration of multiple OEM servers
• Must be able to handle networking and Windows operating system.* Involvement throughout whole software/systems lifecycle, from design through coding to testing, installation and configuration, and documentation (working throughout to full QA procedures) specifically production of FDS, DDS .
• Must be able to handle ELV system and related BMS system integration.
• Must have knowledge on 3D modelling and resolving clashes.* Responsible for RFQ preparation, technical evaluation of related vendors & vendor deliverables.* Interface signoff with other system engineers/contractors* Responsible for getting statutory approvals* Responsible for coordination with site team* Co-ordinate with Client/Engineer/ Vendor and other contractors for technical discussion and getting final approval.
