RTX Collins Aerospace in Bengaluru ( onsite ) seeks a Manager (EE, Advanced Structures) to lead electrical & electronics design, development, verification, and validation for NPI and sustenance programs.

You will drive strategic partnerships, manage budgets, schedules, and performance, and guide a skilled team through complex power electronics projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or above in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation or communications.
• 13+ years of industry experience in electrical & electronics engineering.
• Experience leading power electronic product design and development projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of E&E engineers to deliver engineering solutions.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and team members.

Overview

In this role the Manager (EE, Advanced Structures) actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities on electrical & electronics design, development, verification, and validation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manages, develops, and motivates a team of electrical & electronics engineers to deliver engineering solutions.
• Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
• Performs project Planning, develops and administers budget, schedules and performance standards.
• Performs resource planning, analyses hiring requirements, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and performance.
• Leads departmental initiatives to enhance organization process improvements.
• Manages project technical risks and develops mitigation plan.
• Performs Competency Assessment and Leadership development Review.
• Strong affinity towards technology & innovation and drives new technology ideas & development.
• Drive for continuous improvement.
• Sets goals and objectives for team members and conducts performance reviews.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation, communications with 13+ years of Industry experience with experience in leading power electronic product design and development projects.
• Good knowledge on electronic product design and development process (DO-254 or equivalent), from requirement till delivery including product qualification (DO-160 or equivalent).
• strong technical background related product development to own the electrical design related to Analog and Mixed Signal , Low voltage power supply Design.
• Hands on with document writing, Presentation, Project task efforts estimation, guiding team members.
• Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electronics, Electricals, instrumentation, communications.
