Job summary

Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Leader to ensure safe and reliable operation of the plant's electrical distribution network and utility systems.

The role involves planning and supervising preventive and predictive maintenance for electrical infrastructure and managing substations and power distribution across the site. The candidate should have 10-15 years of experience, with a BE in Electronics or BTech, and strong knowledge of electrical safety

• Proven experience in leading electrical maintenance teams.
• Experience in utility operations management and energy optimization.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, reliable operation of the plant's electrical distribution network and utility systems.
• Plan, organize, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for electrical infrastructure.
• Manage electrical substations, power distribution systems, and associated equipment while adhering to statutory and safety requirements.
• Drive energy conservation initiatives, infrastructure upgrades, and optimization of electrical power consumption.
• Liaise with statutory authorities for approvals, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead contract manpower and service providers, ensuring quality execution and periodic performance reviews.
• Monitor daily operations, resolve customer complaints, and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels of electrical spare parts and consumables to avoid disruptions.

• Liaise with statutory authorities such as MSEDCL and Electrical Inspectorate for approvals, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead contract manpower and service providers, ensuring quality execution and periodic performance reviews.
• Monitor daily operations, ensure timely resolution of customer complaints, and elevate critical issues when necessary.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels of electrical spare parts and consumables to avoid operational disruptions.
• In-depth knowledge of Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Maintenance Operations, and Safe Working Procedures.
• Strong experience in operation and maintenance of:

  132 kV / 11 kV Electrical Substations HT Distribution Systems LT Distribution Systems Industrial Electrical Utilities and Infrastructure

Education Qualification

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics; Bachelors of Technology

General Experience

10-15 Years

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, statutory compliance, and energy management practices.
• Proven experience in leading electrical maintenance teams and managing utility operations.
