Job summary

D-tech Management Resource is seeking a skilled maintenance engineer for a steel plant in India. The role focuses on maintenance and troubleshooting of AC & DC drives, HT/LT motors, switchgears, and related control centers to ensure continuous operation in the SMS.

You will handle preventive and breakdown maintenance, interpret LT/HT drawings, and use SAP/ERP/Oracle for performance monitoring. The candidate should have exposure to large integrated steel plants and TPM/ISO quality systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical maintenance in SMS (LRF, EAF, VOD).
• Hands-on knowledge of LT/HT circuits and control drawings.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000/14001 quality systems and TPM.

Responsibilities

• Handle the shift independently and attend SMS troubleshooting.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance of all line equipment in SMS.
• Read and interpret LT/HT electrical drawings and monitor performance.

Job description

Job Profile :-

• 1. Having knowledge in maintenance and troubleshooting of AC & DC drives. , HT & LT motors and its control centers, electrical switchgears, weigh feeders, vibrofeeders, rotary kiln slip rings, DG sets, and transformers.
• 2. Maintenance of Distribution Transformer, H.T. motors, L.T. motors, switchboard, panels and its accessories in Steel Melting Shop Division.
• 3. Handling the shift independently and attending the troubl shooting related to the SMS.
• 4. Having hand knowledge of power and control circuit drawing of L.T. and H.T. equipments.
• 5. Both preventive and break-down maintenance of all line equipments of steel melting shop.
• 6. Keen Understanding of the ISO-9001:2000&14001 quality system & TPM, Five Sigma.
• Should have exposure of working large integrated Steel Plant.
• Should have Relevant Experience In Electrical Maintainence In Steel Melting Shop (LRF, EAF, VOD). Exposed to HT/LT, Motors, AC & DC Drives,Circuit, Breakers, Prevention & Breakdown maintainence, 5S, TPM, Etc.
• Computer Skilled Computer usage for Performance monitoring: Developed periodical performance monitoring system through SAP/ERP/ Oracle with extensive use of computers at all levels.
