Lead Electrical Engineer (Design Engineering) for Power Projects and Hydrogen Projects

Main Responsibilities:

1. Lead electrical engineering activities for power projects including coal, simple cycle, combined cycle, cogeneration, and hydrogen projects.
2. Perform electrical system engineering tasks such as equipment sizing calculations, preparing equipment specifications for procurement, and technical bid evaluations.
3. Conduct physical engineering activities, including layout design for cable trays, earthing, lightning, lighting, cable schedules, and ICS.
4. Review and perform basic system studies such as load flow, short circuit, relay coordination, and setting calculations (knowledge of ETAP is an advantage).
5. Review vendor prints, oversee FATs of major electrical equipment.
6. Coordinate design activities across departments.
7. Participate in design reviews and collaborate with clients.
8. Plan engineering deliverables and timelines.
9. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.

Key Skills Required:

• Experience in designing electrical systems for thermal power plants.
• Knowledge of relevant Indian and international standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant computer skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel and undertake deputation.
