Job summary

Thinsil Technologies is seeking an experienced VLSI Engineering Manager/Director to lead and grow the ASIC/SoC engineering practice in Bengaluru. You will drive end-to-end development programs across RTL, verification, synthesis, STA, physical design, DFT and signoff, while owning delivery, quality, schedules, and resources.

You will mentor high-performing VLSI teams, define engineering methodologies, and push automation and productivity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in ASIC/SoC design and engineering leadership.
• Lead end-to-end ASIC/SoC development programs across RTL, Verification, Synthesis, STA, Physical Design, DFT, and Signoff.
• Own project delivery, quality, schedules, resources, risks, and technical escalations.
• Build, mentor, and manage high-performing VLSI teams, technical leads, and engineering managers.
• Define and drive engineering methodologies, best practices, automation, and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, physical design, CAD, and product teams for successful execution.
• Engage with customers for technical discussions, reviews, requirements, escalations, and delivery planning.
• Support RFP/RFQ responses, proposals, effort estimation, solution development, and technical presentations.
• Identify opportunities to develop new VLSI capabilities, reusable IP, methodologies, and engineering solutions.
• Drive practice strategy, customer growth, revenue, hiring, resource planning, and organizational development.
