JSW Steel is seeking a costing and analytics professional to manage standard costing, BOM validation, and month-end close across SAP CO, ML, and PC modules. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with Operations and Finance.

You will lead inventory valuation, cost optimization initiatives, and development of dashboards for leadership reviews, contributing to improved cost controls and decision-making in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP CO, ML, and PC modules is essential.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing and inventory valuation.
• Proven ability to perform cost variance analysis and produce actionable insights.

Responsabilités

• Manage standard costing, cost roll-ups, product costing, and cost sheet maintenance.
• Review and validate BOMs, routings, and costing master data.
• Perform cost variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
• Lead monthly inventory valuation, reconciliations, inventory provisioning, and analytics.
• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Execute SAP CO, PC, and ML month-end closing activities.
• Ensure reconciliation between FI, CO, MM, and ML modules.
• Support audits and compliance requirements.
• Develop inventory and cost reports & dashboards for leadership reviews.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives across plants.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, and Finance to improve processes.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage standard costing, cost roll-ups, product costing, and cost sheet maintenance.
• Review and validate BOMs, routings, and costing master data.
• Perform cost variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimization.
• Lead monthly inventory valuation, reconciliations, inventory provisioning, and inventory analytics.
• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Execute and govern SAP CO, Product Costing (PC), and Material Ledger (ML) month-end closing activities.
• Ensure reconciliation between FI, CO, MM, and Material Ledger modules.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, cost audits, and compliance requirements.
• Develop Inventory & cost reports & dashboards, and MIS for leadership reviews.
• Lead automation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives across plants.
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to improve processes.
