Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an Engineering Manager with deep DevOps and cloud expertise to lead a team focused on automation, reliability, and scalable infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments.

The ideal candidate will guide SRE practices, incident response, and observability, while partnering with U.S.-based architecture and operations teams to standardize deployments and security across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Automation roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
• Support configuration management and drift remediation across cloud environments.
• Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and Helm deployments.
• Write and maintain reusable Terraform modules and automation scripts in Bash and Python.
• Implement automated checks for security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects and Operations teams to standardize build and release processes.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, and configuration issues.
• Document CI/CD and IaC standards, patterns, and operational playbooks.
• Maintain reliability and availability for production workloads in AWS.
• Define and measure SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Automate recovery, scaling, and operational tasks via scripting.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using Datadog, Prometheus, and CloudWatch.
• Partner with DevOps and product teams to strengthen release reliability and rollback automation.
• Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews to improve system resilience.
• Implement operational runbooks and self-healing automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Improve system scaling, capacity management, and cross-region failover designs.
• Participate in global on‑call rotation and follow-the-sun incident response.

Engineering Manager with strong experience on DevOps, Cloud, Site Reliability Engineering. Manage a team of Engineers that will:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud automation pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Azure DevOps, Terraform, and related scripting tools.
• They will partner with U.S.-based Cloud Architecture and Operations teams to standardize, secure, and streamline deployments across multiple AWS environments.
• SREs will ensure platform reliability, performance, and availability across production and staging environments.
• They will lead incident response, improve observability, and automate recovery processes to maintain high service uptime and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
