Job Summary

This role is within the Corporate and Investment Banking business ("CIB"). CIB business has a global footprint with annual revenue exceeding USD 11bn and risk-weighted assets around USD 140bn. The Business Performance Operations finance team supports the CFOs by providing financial insights, performance tracking, and progress monitoring of strategic initiatives. The Specialist Client MI is a key role within Business Performance Operations that delivers Client Profitability and insights to drive strategy and measure performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an effective Information and Insights partner, providing accurate and timely Client MI system data.
• Proactively engage the user community to create awareness and support adoption of changes.
• Partner with Country and Product Finance teams and other system teams to improve data quality.
• Own the Client MI Profitability process: champion the process, implement industry best practices in performance management, forecasting, and business analytics.
• Drive continuous process improvement for efficiency and better control across Client MI.
• Collaborate with other Business Performance Leads to ensure consistent MI delivery across CIB.
• Build a data governance framework for critical data elements and reconciliation to ledger.
• Represent BPO in service-review engagements with CFOs, providing insights and addressing action items.
• Minimize operational loss and audit failures, proactively respond to matters arising and manage forward-looking risks.
• Establish frameworks and procedures for monitoring, identifying, measuring, assessing, reporting, and managing compliance, regulatory, financial-crime, operational and reputational risks.
• Build and review governance framework around standard MI, internal controls, policy adherence, and risk appetite.

Qualifications
