Job summary

Avineon India in Hyderabad seeks a HOD - Manager for Civil and Structural Engineering Services to lead design delivery for oil and gas projects, guiding teams in SP3D/E3D/Navisworks/AutoCAD and coordinating with global clients.

You will develop strategies, mentor staff, and ensure quality deliverables within schedule and budget, while driving technical excellence and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.Tech. / M. Tech desirable, with Management qualifications and 20+ years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Man-hour & cost estimates, scheduling, interaction with clients
• Execution strategy, team collaboration, coordination with overseas operating centre leads & project closures
• Implementing work instructions/procedures/processes without deviations
• Participating in internal/external technical/design reviews and quality/system audits
• Mentoring designers/freshers
• Oversight and leadership for timely project deliverables
• Building positive relationships with clients, vendors and management
• Identifying IT tools and implementing them to enhance deliverables
• Ensuring technical integrity of all civil deliverables
• Reviewing project document quality policy and client comments
• Reviewing mobilization requirements and planning resources
• Identifying training needs and maintaining them
• Monitoring progress and issuing reports to Project Manager
• Providing technical guidance and reviewing drawings/documents per quality plan
• Striving for continual improvement in operations, planning, performance, and sustainability
• Mitigating risks and coordinating with stakeholders for business development and presales

Lead, drive, and deliver Civil & Structural Designs for Oil & Gas projects in Engineering Detail Designing services with the right strategies, groom & develop right technical and leadership talent, and excel in business performance in a sustainable way.

Key Deliverables,

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities: -

• Man-hour & cost Estimates, Scheduling, Interaction with Clients

• Progress monitoring, issuing reports as required to the Project Manager.
• Technical guidance to team members, reviewing design/structural drawings/documents as laid down in the Quality control plan.
• Continuously improve and build excellence in operations, project planning, performance, schedule, and deliverables with high quality, consistency and in a sustainable way.
• Anticipate business risks from time to time and mitigate them with constructive strategies and actions.
• Collaborate & partner with internal stakeholders and accomplish business development strategy, business acquisition, and presales needs.
• Implement performance monitoring, reporting, and metrics culture in the team and tools required.
• Confer with, advise, and document recommendations to client management on procedures, policies, problems, priorities, and methods.
• Effectively partner and collaborate with global customers through multiple communication strategies and ensure customer success.
• Accomplish Project Management within budgets and schedules. Organizing teams, resource planning and managing long-term and short-term resource demands.
