Job summary

Adani Transmission is seeking an experienced Solar O&M engineer to monitor PV health, conduct inspections, and manage maintenance across a solar plant. You will work with OEMs and technical teams to resolve module issues and analyze performance losses.

The role requires 3–8 years in Solar O&M, PV module maintenance, testing, or reliability engineering, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement in field operations.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in Solar O&M, PV module maintenance, testing, or reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and health of PV cells/modules across the solar plant.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify defects, degradation, hotspots, micro-cracks, and performance issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on module arrays and associated DC equipment.
• Support module testing, thermal imaging, electroluminescence (EL) testing, and degradation analysis.
• Coordinate with OEMs and technical teams for resolution of cell/module-related issues.
• Analyze generation losses attributable to module performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain module replacement and warranty claim records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and O&M procedures.
• Support root cause analysis for recurring failures and implement improvement actions.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance PR, CUF, and plant availability.
