Job summary

PwC’s Corporate Deals Technology team is seeking a Manager to lead IT-focused deal work in M&A, including IT due diligence, integration planning, and divestitures. You will partner with senior client executives to deliver technology-driven value across the deal lifecycle.

You will coach senior associates, coordinate cross-functional teams across time zones, plan Day One readiness, and develop integration and separation deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology; MBA or equivalent is a MUST.
• 8+ years’ experience in Consulting, preferably in IT M&A and IT integration/separation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams on IT-focused deal work across IT due diligence, integration/separation, and divestitures.
• Develop Day One readiness, and plan integration and separation deliverables including business processes and systems.
• Coach senior associates on engagements and contribute to business development and PwC brand.

The Corporate Deals Technology (CDT) team partners with global corporate clients to shape technology strategy that enables business value and deal success in complex M&A transactions. Our thought leadership and extensive expertise in various industries allow us to serve corporate clients with consulting services with a focus on technology components of the value chain to create scalable and profitable businesses. Corporate Deals Technology (CDT), a key practice of the Strategy platform, works with corporate clients across industries supporting engagements: Developing M&A Technology Strategies for integrations, separations, carve-outs, and divestitures by collaborating with C-suite executives Conducting Technology Due Diligence to assess IT landscapes, identify risks, and evaluate value creation opportunities Advising on Integration and Divestiture Planning to align technology strategy with business and operational priorities Designing Future-State Technology Models and Architectures

Core responsibilities as a Manager would entail (but not limited to)

• As a Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Knowledge Preferred: Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong expertise in IT M&A, IT strategy, and digital transformation, with solid technical knowledge across key IT domains, with strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to deliver complex deals:

• Strong experience in IT M&A (IT DD, IT integration / separation planning & execution) and/or IT Strategy & Digital Transformation
• Strong technical expertise across key IT pillars, including IT Apps Rationalization, IT Infra/Cloud Strategy, Cybersecurity, and ERP transformation
• Significant experience in leading large teams across end-to-end client engagements
• Strong project management, stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as Agentic AI, Gen AI, IoT, etc.
• Ability to manage globally distributed teams and coordinate across multiple time zones
• Skilled in proposal development, RFP responses, and thought leadership for practice growth
• Strong data / cost modelling skills
• Proficiency in leveraging GenAI tools such as ChatGPT for rapid research and analysis

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s degree in information technology; Engineering, Operations, and Finance graduates may also qualify. MBA or equivalent (from Premier B-Schools) is a MUST.

Experience

Manager: 8+ years’ experience in Consulting, preferably in M&A IT Integration, IT Divestitures, IT Due Diligence, TSAs, and IT Cost Modelling Candidates with strong technical expertise across IT Strategy, Digital Transformation, IT Infra/Cloud Strategy & ERP transformation can also apply
