About the Role
You will be part of the Central Functions – Learning& Development team and will own career preparation initiatives acrossMasters’ Union’s programs. The role is responsible for building and deliveringa consistent, scalable career-readiness ecosystem covering mentorship,behavioural preparation, interview readiness, career assets, student readinessand program governance. The role will work closely with CareerServices/Placements, Academics, Admissions, Student Experience, Alumni andLeadership teams to ensure students are well prepared for diverse hiring environments.
Specifically, this role will involve
- Owning and continuously improving structuredcareer-readiness journeys, including mentorship, readiness diagnostics, careerroadmaps, milestones and student interventions.
- Designing and delivering frameworks for interview storytelling,communication, self-awareness, decision-making, executive presence andbehavioural interviewing; integrate these with role- and industry-specificpreparation.
- Driving quality and consistency of resumes, LinkedInprofiles, video CVs, portfolios, interview question banks, storytellingframeworks, evaluation rubrics and feedback mechanisms.
- Building repeatable processes, playbooks, trainingmodules and operating mechanisms that enable career preparation to scale acrossmultiple programs without compromising quality.
- Tracking student readiness, mentorship engagement,interview performance and career outcomes; use data and feedback to identifygaps and improve interventions.
- Coordinating with mentors, coaches, alumni, industryprofessionals and internal teams; support mentor enablement and ensureconsistent delivery across cohorts.
- Partnering with Career Services/Placements, Academics,Admissions, Student Experience, Alumni and Leadership teams to align careerpreparation with student and employer requirements.
- Addressing career-preparation queries, provide structuredguidance, ensure timely communication and maintain a high-touch studentexperience.
- Incorporating recruiter feedback, hiring trends,interview performance and placement outcomes into career-preparation frameworksand student support.
Ideal candidate will have
- 4–7 years of experience in Career Preparation, CareerCoaching, Career Services, Program Management, Behavioral Training, LeadershipDevelopment, Learning & Development, Executive Coaching, or related areas.
- Experience designing or managing structuredcareer-readiness, mentorship, coaching or student-development programs
- Strong understanding of behavioral interviewing, hiringexpectations, career coaching and student readiness.
- Strong program design, facilitation, stakeholdermanagement and execution skills.
- Comfortable working with data, dashboards, trackers andfeedback mechanisms to measure readiness and program effectiveness.
- Strong communication, ownership, problem-solving andleadership skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
- Experience in higher education, business schools,consulting, executive coaching, talent development or a high-growtheducation/learning environment is preferred.
- Background in Psychology, MBA, HR, Learning &Development or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
