Job summary

PhonePe Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Bank Partnerships Manager to build and manage relationships with banks for merchant referrals, subvention and affordability tracks.

You will onboard banks as vendors, coordinate with finance, tax and compliance, and help size opportunities while prioritizing bank customizations with product teams.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of overall experience in partnerships or corporate sales.
• Established network with banks (public, private and foreign).
• Ability to conduct technical, contractual and financial conversations with Banks.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel pan India for bank/merchant meetings.
• Proactive, high-energy team player with quick learning ability.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Map, develop and drive strong working relationships with key influencers for assigned Banks under merchant referrals, subvention and affordability tracks.
• Getting PhonePe empaneled/ onboarded as a vendor in the assigned Banks while also ensuring downstream process alignment across all relevant cross functional teams at PhonePe.
• Ability to front-end contract negotiation and coordinate with cross functional teams like finance, tax, compliance, etc.
• Work alongside each assigned Bank to build a funnel of merchant prospects for our sales team to convert and also evaluate merchant subvention asks with Banks.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams like solutions & product to ensure that we deliver on required Bank customizations by sizing the opportunity and getting it prioritized.
