Job summary

Thakral One invites an experienced Manager / AVP (T24 Testing) to lead the T24 Testing team on Temenos Core Banking projects. You will drive test planning, execution, automation, and performance strategies while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders.

The role demands 10+ years of experience, with 7+ years in T24, strong automation using Selenium or Playwright, and exposure to DevOps, JIRA, and Azure DevOps. You will mentor the team and ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total work experience with 7+ years in testing Temenos Core Banking (T24).
• Strong knowledge of T24 modules including Accounts, Funds Transfer, Teller, FX, Money Market, Loans, Deposits, SWIFT, L/C, GL, P&L, Balance Sheet.
• Proven automation experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience in DevOps practices and defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Team management experience and ability to collaborate with IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the T24 Testing team to deliver high-quality testing across Temenos Core Banking projects.
• Plan and execute test strategies, including functional and non-functional tests, data preparation, and progress reporting.
• Define and implement automation and performance testing approaches; develop automation frameworks.
• Support UAT and BAU testing, and provide QA support across branches.
• Collaborate with IT, business analysts, and developers to resolve defects and ensure coverage.

Job description

As a Manager / AVP (T24 Testing) , you will lead the T24 Testing team to deliver high-quality testing outcomes across Temenos Core Banking projects. You will manage test planning, execution, automation, and performance testing strategies while ensuring strong collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Test Planning & Execution

• Manage T24 Testing team deliverables.
• Create feasible test plans and track schedules to meet project timelines.
• Develop functional and non‑functional test cases based on design documents.
• Prepare test data and execute test cases with timely progress reporting.
• Implement proactive recovery and catch‑up planning in case of delays.
• Identify, log, track, and report defects and issues.
• Liaise with business analysts and developers to clarify and resolve defects.

Automation & Performance Testing

• Define test automation and performance test strategies.
• Develop automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium or Playwright.
• Reduce manual effort through automation initiatives.
• Apply DevOps practices to streamline testing and delivery.

User Acceptance & BAU Support

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide BAU support for branches, including troubleshooting and QA.
• Collaborate with IT and business groups to ensure smooth operations.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with partners across IT and business teams.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage and stakeholder alignment.

Experience

• You have 10+ years of total work experience, with 7+ years in testing Temenos Core Banking (T24).
• You have strong knowledge of T24 retail and corporate banking modules (Accounts, Funds Transfer, Teller, FX, Money Market, Loans, Deposits, SWIFT, Letters of Credit, GL, P&L, Balance Sheet, Miscellaneous Deals, Non‑Stop module, and other services).
• You have proven automation experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• You have experience in DevOps practices and defect management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• You have team management experience.
• You have basic Unix/Linux knowledge.

Technical Expertise

• You have experience in full SDLC.
• You have tested banking systems in financial institutions.
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in computing or a relevant field.
• You have experience using AI technologies (e.g., Copilot).
