The Corporate Institute in Bengaluru is seeking a Chartered Accountant with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in business finance, FP&A, or financial analysis to lead budgets, forecasts, and performance reporting. You will work closely with Sales and operations to model revenue, cost, and cash flow, while driving profitability and reporting automation.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, experience with SaaS metrics, and exposure to Power BI or ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA with 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in business finance, FP&A, management reporting or financial analysis.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling; sound accounting, revenue recognition and controls knowledge; clear communication, attention to detail and independent ownership.
• Preferred: SaaS, technology or start-up experience; subscription metrics and unit economics; Power BI, ERP or reporting automation; investor reporting, due diligence or consolidated reporting exposure.

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

1. Financial planning: Lead budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario planning.
   • Model revenue, headcount, costs, cash flow and funding needs to assess growth opportunities and financial risks.
2. Performance & MIS: Own monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and business reviews.
   • Track revenue, margins, EBITDA, spend and key KPIs; explain variances against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, and recommend corrective actions.
3. SaaS revenue insights: Analyse ARR, MRR, new business, renewals, churn, expansion and retention.
   • Partner with Sales and Customer Success on revenue forecasts; review contracts, billing and revenue recognition to flag leakage and collection risks.
4. Cash & profitability: Forecast liquidity, cash burn and runway.
   • Track department and project profitability, resource utilization, employee costs, cloud infrastructure and vendor spend; identify savings and improve working capital and cash conversion.
5. Business partnership: Evaluate hiring, investments, resource allocation and expansion through financial analysis and business cases.
   • Connect business drivers with financial outcomes.
6. Finance transformation: Automate dashboards and reporting; standardize processes, SOPs and controls.
   • Work with internal teams and accounting partners to improve data quality, reconciliations and reporting timelines while reducing manual dependencies.
7. Investor relations: Support the Finance Head with investor and Board updates, due diligence and strategic planning.
   • Reconcile management reports and projections with statutory financials.
