Job summary

Hero Future Energies is seeking a seasoned O&M professional to oversee wind farm operations after commissioning.

You will monitor KPIs, coordinate with contractors, manage MTTR/MTBF, and ensure HSE SOP compliance. Requires BE Electrical/Electronics and 10 years in large wind/grid projects with Siemens-Gamesa fleets.

Experience with Siemens-Gamesa WTG as IPP or OEM, advanced Excel, and strong communication and problem-solving skills in Kannada, Hindi and English are required.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical/Electronics with 10 years of O&M experience in a large WIND Farm/Grid project with Siemens-Gamesa fleet.
• Proven O&M management experience in wind sector.
• Must have independently handled a windfarm >50 MW.
• 5+ years on Siemens-Gamesa WTG as IPP or OEM.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel
• Open to Innovative Idea implementation at site
• Good communication & problem solving skills.
• Language: Kannada & Hindi/English

Responsibilities

• Monitor site operations with contractors to maintain plant KPIs (Machine Availability, Internal/External Grid Availability).
• Maintain MTTR and MTBF as per plant targets.
• Analyze WTG performance for Power Curve, Breakdowns, Warnings & Temperature rises.
• Ensure O&M activities including HSE follow SOPs.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS for generation, wind speed & KPIs.
• Coordinate with Discom/Transco for grid issues and monthly JMR & invoicing.
• Maintain SCADA and comms between site and HO.
• Carry out WTG & Store audits as per schedule.
• Coordinate with admin and police for ROW/site issues.
• Coordinate with Land authorities for land-related issues.

Job description

Incumbents will be responsible for Site activities as per:

Project O&M (After commissioning of the Project)

• Monitor site operations, working with contractors and subcontractors and ensuring the plant KPIs like Machine Availability, Internal Grid Availability and External Grid Availability is maintained as per target
• Ensure MTTR and MTBF levels are maintained as per plants target
• Complete analysis of all WTGs for Power Curve, Breakdowns, Warning and Temperature raise issues
• To ensure that all O&M activities, including HSE are carried out as per SOPs.
• Preparing daily / weekly /monthly MIS depicting generation, Wind speed and other KPIs.
• Coordination with Discom and Transco for Grid related issues and monthly JMR & revenue Invoicing.
• Maintenance of SCADA and Communication network between site and HO.
• Carry out WTG & Store audits as per schedule.
• Coordination with administration and police for resolution of local ROWs at site under the zone
• Coordination with Land authorities for resolution of land related issues

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience:

• B.E. Electrical/Electronics with 10 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance activities in a large WIND Farm/Grid project with Siemens-Gamesa fleet.

Desired Profile:

• Proven track record in O&M management of wind sector.
• Must have handled a windfarm of more than 50 MW independently
• Minimum 5 year experience on Siemens-Gamesa WTG as IPP or OEM
• In depth knowledge of advanced Microsoft excel
• Open for Innovative Idea implementation at site
• Good communication & problem solving skills.
