Job summary

Barbrik Project is seeking a Manager Accounts (HO) at its Head Office in Raipur with periodic visits to sites. The role oversees SPV accounting, site accountant reviews, and monthly reporting, ensuring timely closures and strict compliance with GST and TDS.

Applicants should have strong multi-site consolidation experience and be prepared for performance-driven appraisal. Ideal candidates possess CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance) with hands-on GST and TDS expertise, and exposure to HAM projects

Qualifications

• CA Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance), or equivalent. 68+ years in accounts and finance, ideally in construction, EPC, or infrastructure, with hands‑on GST and TDS compliance experience.
• Prior exposure to multi-site consolidation and SPV‑level accounting is an advantage, particularly for HAM projects.

Responsibilities

• Site & SPV Ownership: Own the complete trial balance for all sites in the assigned portfolio; direct responsibility for one HAM SPV with its accounting and compliance requirements.
• Reviewing Site Accountants: Review and consolidate reports submitted by Site Accountants at assigned sites; revert errors with written correction instructions; expedite Creditor Ageing and List of Advance through faster cycles.
• Own Reports to AGM Accounts: Prepare and submit ten reports every month: P&L, Cashflow, GST RCM Register, Outward Supply Report, ITC Reconciliation, GST Position, Non-Moving Ledger A/c's, TDS Report, Debtor Ageing, Projected Cashflow.
• Reconciliation & Team Oversight: Take ownership of ledger reconciliation work allocated by AGM Accounts; participate in Team 1 or Team 2 for cross-coverage.
• Performance Evaluation: Reports scored out of 5 based on timeliness; monthly percentile ranking against other Managers (HO); this role’s score blends with Site Accountants’ performance.

Age Criteria - 27 to 35 years

Key Responsibilities :

Site & SPV Ownership

• Own the complete trial balance for all sites in the assigned portfolio.
• Hold direct responsibility for one HAM SPV, including its dedicated accounting and compliance requirements.

Reviewing Site Accountants

• Review and consolidate all reports submitted by Site Accountants at assigned sites: Creditor Ageing, List of Advance, Salary Payable Ageing, Salary Advance Ageing, Withheld/GST Withheld/SD Amount, Ageing of SD Assets, Sub-Contractor Bill Details, Details of Work Done, List of Machinery at Project, Stock Report, and List of Active Sub-Contractors with billing status.
• Where a submission has an error, revert it to the Site Accountant with clear written correction instructions never correct it directly. The delay clock keeps running until the corrected version is resubmitted and accepted
• Creditor Ageing and List of Advance move on a faster cycle (twice weekly and weekly respectively) and, after this review, go straight to Sr. GM/CFO rather than through AGM Accounts.

Own Reports to AGM Accounts

• Prepare and submit ten reports directly each month: Profit & Loss Statement, Cashflow Statement, GST RCM Register, Outward Supply Report, ITC Reconciliation, GST Position, Non-Moving Ledger A/c's, TDS Report, Debtor Ageing, and Projected Cashflow for the next month.

Reconciliation & Team Oversight

• Take ownership of ledger reconciliation work allocated by AGM Accounts, and ensure it is actually resolved rather than left pending.
• Participate in the team structure (Team 1 or Team 2) alongside peer Managers and support staff for crosscoverage and coordination.

Performance Evaluation

• Each report is scored out of 5 based on timeliness: 5 for on time, tapering to 0 beyond 30 days late or if not submitted, measured to the date a report is finally accepted (including after any correction cycle).
• Monthly performance is ranked by percentile against the other Managers (HO).
• The role's score is a blend of personal marks and the average performance of its Site Accountants (currently weighted 70/30), so team follow-up directly affects this role's own rating.
