Job summary

Institute of Management Accountants, Inc. in Vadodara seeks a Manager - Accounts to lead accounting, MIS and business analysis. CA qualified with 8–10 years post-qualification experience, including 3+ years in a similar role; SAP experience is mandatory.

You will ensure IND AS compliance, IFRS reporting for the Dubai subsidiary, and robust monthly closing, disclosures, and coordination with auditors.

Qualifications

• CA qualified with 8–10 years post-qualification experience, of which 3+ years in similar role.
• SAP experience mandatory.
• Experience in IND AS and IFRS approvals and reporting will be preferred.
• Based in Vadodara with Mumbai/ Dubai exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Prepare notes, disclosures for the Dubai subsidiary as per IFRS and IND AS.
• Oversee annual accounts for gratuity trust and conduct annual tax audits.
• Develop and monitor internal controls; coordinate with statutory and cost auditors.
• Coordinate with treasury, taxation, AP/AR and cross-functional teams.
• Provide inputs for regulatory authorities as required.

Job Description:

• Education : Qualified CA
• Experience : 8-10 years post qualification experience of which 3+ years in similar role
• Salary Range : 16 to 18 LPA
• Job Location: Vadodara office
• This position will report to Head of Accounts & Controlling
• SAP experience mandatory
• There are no reportee to this role. This is individual performer role.
• Role includes mix of accounting, MIS and Business Analysis (30% accounting & 70% MIS / Business analysis)

• KRA:
• Corporate Accounts
• Ensuring correct accounting of all transactions & ensure that all the aspects of IND AS have been adhered
• Ensuring that standard operating procedures are in place in all significant accounting process
• Responsible for monthly accounts including notes and necessary disclosures for Dubai subsidiary (as per IFRS and as per Ind AS) and prepare presentations etc., for board meeting of Dubai subsidiary
• Responsible for annual accounts for gratuity trust
• Responsible for annual tax audit
• Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Closing:
• Monthly, quarterly & annual closing activities
• Work towards improving and reducing the time for closing activities
• Adherence to IND AS in monthly closing
• Ensure accuracy of monthly provisions and prepare expense schedules on monthly basis
• Prepare various MIS and analysis for Utilities, Fixed cost, Inventory, NRV, working capital etc.,
• Support NWC control activity
• Internal Controls & Audits
• Co-ordination with the Statutory Auditor and Cost auditor
• Co-ordination with internal process owners on matters of accounts and audit
• Support & Coordination
• Strengthen Internal control for all accounting related activities and processes
• Co-ordination & support Treasury, Taxation, AP/AR & support all cross functions within organization
