Job description

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Accounts Manager (Male/Female) to manage day-to-day accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance activities.

The candidate will work closely with the Director Finance and external auditors/tax consultants and will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and timely statutory compliances.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting, Income Tax/TDS and PF/statutory compliances, along with basic-to-working knowledge of GST.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Manage day-to-day accounting and maintenance of books of accounts.
• Handle accounts payable, receivables, general ledger and bank/cash transactions.
• Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Review invoices, employee expenses, advances and payments.
• Assist in monthly closing, financial statements and MIS reporting.
• Monitor receivables, payables and cash flows.

Income Tax & TDS

• Independently handle routine TDS and Income Tax compliance.
• Determine TDS applicability on vendor, professional, contractual, rent and other payments.
• Ensure timely deduction, deposit and filing of TDS.
• Prepare/review TDS workings and reconcile with Form 26AS/AIS.
• Coordinate with tax consultants on Income Tax notices and assessments.
• Keep track of changes in applicable Income Tax/TDS provisions.

PF & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure timely PF/EPF and payroll-related statutory compliances.
• Review monthly PF/TDS and other statutory deductions.
• Coordinate with payroll service providers and HR.
• Maintain statutory records and documentation.
• Assist with statutory authority queries, notices, and inspections.

GST

• Possess basic-to-working knowledge of GST.
• Review GST applicability on purchases and expenses.
• Assist with GST workings, returns and GSTR-2B/Input Tax Credit reconciliation.
• Coordinate with GST consultants for filings and notices.
