Job summary

KPMG Delivery Network India in Gurugram is seeking an AM to lead a team of consultants on international engagements. The role involves summarizing financial information, guiding projects for onshore teams, and independently handling smaller assignments under supervision of a Manager or Senior Manager.

You will build strong onshore relationships, provide updates on pipelines, mentor subordinates, and support business development. Expertise in CA/ACCA/CPA credentials is expected.

Responsibilities

• Summarizing and Analyzing financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash flows)
• Lead a team of consultants and associate consultants on projects for international KPMG teams and clients.
• Undertake small/medium assignments independently or assist larger ones under a Manager or Senior Manager.
• Build relationships with onshore teams via weekly meetings and calls.
• Provide regular updates on work pipeline to the team.
• Review work of subordinates and coach them.
• Support proposals and business development efforts.
• Provide technical accounting advisory and research for international teams, incl. implementation of new standards.
• Assist with SEC filings for spin-offs, carveouts, IPOs and other acquisitions (domestic and cross-border).
• Provide conversion services to US GAAP and IFRS.
• Offer transaction-oriented accounting for M&A, divestitures, financing structures, complex instruments, revenue recognition and leases.
• Prepare and present accounting whitepapers.

Job description

. As an AM you will be responsible for:

• Summarizing and Analyzing financial information (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets and cash flows)
• Lead a team of consultants and associate consultants for executing projects on behalf of international KPMG teams and clients (‘onshore teams’)
• To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager
• Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members through weekly meetings and calls with onshore stakeholders
• Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with onshore teams to the entire team
• Review the work performed by the subordinates and coach them
• To provide support/assistance for proposals/business development
• Provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards
• Assist with US Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings for spin-offs, carveouts, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings, and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions
• Provide conversion services to U.S. and foreign registered companies to / from U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising and financing structures, complex financial instruments, revenue recognition and leases.
