Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking a Senior Manager – Process Engineering to lead development, optimization, scale-up, and tech transfer of solid oral and injectable dosage forms. The role requires strong chemical engineering principles, pharma manufacturing expertise, and regulatory compliance with a track record of delivering scalable processes.

You will drive process design, validation, and transfer to manufacturing sites, aiming to improve yield and cost-efficiency across multiple dosage forms.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes (Oral solid dosage form preferred).
• Expertise in: Process scale-up and validation.
• Process Analytical Technology (PAT) expertise.
• Process simulation tools include MixIT, CFD, DEM, VisiMix.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes for solid oral and injectable dosage forms.
• Scale up processes from lab/pilot to commercial production.
• Lead technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing sites.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to boost yield, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct process capability studies and statistical analyses to improve performance.
