Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Solar Rooftop Manager to oversee the installation and commissioning of rooftop solar PV systems. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety compliance, supervising installation teams, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all on-site installation activities of rooftop solar PV systems.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality guidelines, and engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, electricians, and civil teams for smooth execution.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and design.
• Maintain daily site reports, labor records, and installation checklists.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑installation inspections and assist in system testing and commissioning.
• Identify and resolve site issues or delays in coordination with the project team.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment on-site.
• Provide technical guidance to installation crews and junior technicians.
• Communicate progress updates to the project manager and document site photos.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar rooftop installation supervision.
• Strong understanding of rooftop solar PV system components and installation practices.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and electrical standards (e.g., IEC, IS codes).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office / mobile reporting apps.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with grid‑connected and off‑grid systems.
• Basic knowledge of net metering, load calculations, and inverter configurations.
• Certification in solar installation or related safety training is a plus.
