Job summary

Lupin in Nagpur, MH, IN is seeking a Manager to supervise compliance with cGMP, QAMS, GxP and EH&S requirements, and to ensure smooth operation of the Occupational Health Centre.

The role includes training team members, conducting health examinations, maintaining records, coordinating with hospitals, and implementing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards at site. You will lead safety initiatives, monitor SOP adherence, and manage first-aid readiness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise compliance of cGMP, QAMS, GxP and EH&S requirements.
• Complete self-training (L2LMS) or per EHS guideline and monitor training of team on SOPs/EHS guidelines.
• Report quality concerns or suggestions to managers.
• Execute and supervise tasks per SOPs/EHS guidelines.
• Handle first aid and emergencies arising from accident or sickness.
• Ensure smooth functioning of Occupational Health Centre and maintain records.
• Maintain First Aid Boxes and records.
• Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations as applicable.
• Promote Occupational Health & Hygiene practices.
• Conduct periodic training on First Aid, Personal Health & Hygiene, canteen hygiene, health counselling, etc.
• Coordinate with LHWRF for community health camps as required.
• Promote and maintain highest degree of physical, mental and social wellbeing of employees.
• Coordinate with hospitals in case of accident/sickness cases.
• Identify new health hazards and develop medical emergency preparedness.
• Complete self-training and ensure training of team members on relevant SOPs/EHS guidelines.
• Any other assignments allocated with respect to OHC & Occupational Health.
• Implementation of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards at site.
