Jindal Stainless Limited in Odisha is seeking a senior mechanical leader to head the blast furnace department, ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and safety of critical mechanical systems.

You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, lead engineers and technicians, coordinate with production and safety, manage budgets, and report progress to senior management.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the mechanical maintenance and operation of blast furnace equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
• Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and safety departments to align mechanical operations with overall plant objectives.
• Manage budgeting, procurement, and inventory control for mechanical spare parts and tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to mechanical operations and maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on mechanical performance, maintenance activities, and project progress to senior management.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and equipment upgrades.
