Job summary

Darwinbox Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced supervisor to oversee the mechanical maintenance and repair of the blast furnace and its auxiliaries. You will lead a team of mechanics to ensure efficient operation and strict safety standards.

The role requires deep knowledge of blast furnace systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, and will involve diagnosing issues, implementing corrective actions, and coordinating preventive and predictive maintenance across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical maintenance and repair of the blast furnace and auxiliary equipment.
• Lead a team of mechanics to ensure operational efficiency, safety and compliance with industry regulations.
• Maintain plant maintenance, manage inventory, ensure safety and environmental standards of HBS, GCP, BLT, WGHRS, Axial Cyclone.
• In-depth knowledge of blast furnace systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, and water-cooled piping.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
• Manage the shift and handle all breakdowns, preventive and predictive maintenance.
