Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or part-qualified preferred.
• Experience in management accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting processes.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables and Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate financial analysis and commentary.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.

Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate financial analysis and commentary.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities including accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports for senior management.

Monitor financial performance and identify variances against budgets and forecasts.

Assist in preparing cashflow forecasts and financial planning reports.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

Work closely with department heads to gather financial data and prepare budget reports.

Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations to improve business performance.

Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Assist with audit preparation and support internal and external audit requirements.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within ERP systems.

Monitor and improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with operational and departmental teams to provide financial guidance and support.

Prepare KPI reports, dashboards, and financial performance analysis for management review.

Support finance transformation initiatives and process improvement projects.

Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.

Process Improvement

Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement within finance operations.

Maintain and improve financial reporting procedures and documentation.

Support implementation and optimization of ERP and finance systems.

Skills & Experience Required

Strong experience in management accounting and financial reporting.

Excellent understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and reporting processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and Power Query.

Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Skills

Experience in shared services or multi-entity business environments.

Exposure to finance transformation and process improvement projects.

Knowledge of automation tools and reporting systems.

Experience supporting international business operations preferred.
