Job summary

ZEISS in India, headquartered in Bengaluru, is seeking an experienced HVAC mechanic to install, maintain and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems across manufacturing and service sites.

The role requires 4–5 years in process-driven manufacturing, ability to read blueprints, and readiness to work after hours and with multiple contractors; ITI HVAC or Diploma Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

Main Accountabilities

Areas of Expertise

• Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment like Air Handling Units, humidifiers, De Humidifiers, Cooling towers, Brine chillers etc


• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.


• Leak testing, Vacuumizing, Brazing, Gas charging and commissioning of the AC unit. .


• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.


• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.


• Ability to work in confined spaces.


• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams and schematics.


• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.


• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.


• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.


• Having experience of working with multiple contractors at site.


• Collaborate with other team members for any trouble shooting during shifts.
