Carl Zeiss India (Bangalore) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced HVAC mechanic in Bengaluru to install, maintain, repair ventilation and air conditioning systems across our facilities. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, perform leak tests and wire line up to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires 4–5 years in a process-driven manufacturing setting, strong blueprint-reading skills, and the ability to work after hours and independently as part of a team.

Formación

• ITI HVAC systems or Diploma Mechanical Engineering holders with hands-on experience.
• 4–5 years of experience in a process-driven manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams/schematics.

Main Accountabilities Areas of Expertise

• Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment like Air Handling Units, humidifiers, De Humidifiers, Cooling towers, Brine chillers etc.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Leak testing, Vacuumizing, Brazing, Gas charging and commissioning of the AC unit.
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams and schematics.
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
• Having experience of working with multiple contractors at site.
• Collaborate with other team members for any trouble shooting during shifts.

Requirements

• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Proven experience as a HVAC mechanic.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams and schematics.
• Highly observant and analytical skills.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Job Specifications

• Education - ITI HVAC systems/ Diploma Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience - 4 – 5 years of experience in process driven manufacturing industry. - Relevant industry experience is preferable.
