Job summary

Safran in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Maintenance Operation professional to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, lead engineers and technicians, and ensure equipment reliability and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Manage maintenance engineers and technicians—training, monitoring and evaluation.
• Monitor equipment performance and schedule inspections.
• Control maintenance budgets, costs and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with vendors, including sourcing and contract negotiation.
• Maintain equipment history, maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Respond quickly to equipment failures/emergencies.
• Drive continuous improvement and asset-management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and industry standards.
• Use CMMS (Carl) and IoT sensors for real-time monitoring and maintenance efficiency.
• Prepare periodic maintenance reports using data consolidation and statistical analysis.
• Create a lessons-learned repository for improvement and training.
• Maintain 5S in maintenance work areas.
• Coach and motivate the team toward innovation and continuous improvement.
