Job summary

Safran in India is seeking a Senior Engineer-Technical Facilities to lead the monitoring and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and other plant systems, while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will oversee shift planning, drive continuous improvement, manage a high-performing team, and deliver energy and facilities enhancements at Aviation SEZ Limited in Shamshabad, Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 8~10 years experience.
• Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics associated with trade.
• At least five years of experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Must have knowledge in building construction and maintenance.

Job description

Plan, organize & direct to the team for periodic monitoring and maintenance of facility means like Electrical systems, DG & Transformers, HVAC, Chillers, Fire protection system, water treatment processes, Compressors, etc..

Oversees utilities consumption and implement cost savings ideas / solutions.

Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.

Periodic Inspection of building structure and Identify need of repairs or renovations. Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments.

Manage improvement drives such as 5'S, kaizen and continues improvement activities.

Manage low carbon activities to meet defined objectives by reduction in energy consumption, renewable energy deployment, waste control, etc.

Manage, coach and develop a high performing team of technicians that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.

Analyze reports, records and data, prepare action plans to improve performance.

Shift operational planning, resources identification and deployment with proper allocation of work assignments.

Monitoring of shift performance, consolidation of shift data and prepare management information reports (MIS).

Ensure safety of equipment's and employees while work activities are performed. For external workers or suppliers, work permit and associated trainings are done in advance and team is qualified to work.
