Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of OSD and Gummies machinery including processing and packaging lines.

• Plan and execute calibration/validation of machinery and sensors.
• Identify, forecast and manage spares to minimize downtime.
• Develop CAPA-based improvements and tools for better reliability.
• Maintain robust records and assist audits.
• Prepare weekly maintenance performance reports.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Executive to oversee engineering operations, machinery maintenance, and utility management for our OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) and Gummies formulation facility. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum machine availability, lead calibration protocols, and maintain strict compliance with pharmaceutical audit standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the breakdown, preventive, and predictive maintenance of core OSD and Gummies machinery including:
• Processing: RMG, FBD, Sifter, Multi Mill, Roll Compactor, Tray Drier, Compression, Capsule Filling, and Auto-Coaters.
• Packaging: Bottle Lines, Sachet, Alu-Alu, PVC, Pillow Packing, and Labeling machines.
• Utility & Facility Management: Maintain plant utilities including AHUs, Chillers, Air Compressors, and Water Treatment Plants (WTP).
• Calibration & Validation: Plan and execute periodical calibration/validation of plant machinery and master instruments (pressure/vacuum gauges, temp/Rh transmitters, pH/conductivity/DO sensors, ovens, and incubators).
• Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Identify, forecast, and maintain stock of critical spares to minimize machine downtime.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop custom jigs, fixtures, and tools; visit suppliers for machine development; and implement CAPA based on repetitive breakdown analyses.
• Documentation & Audits: Maintain robust documentation and engineering logs to ensure compliance with internal and external customer/regulatory audits.
• Reporting: Prepare and present weekly maintenance department performance reviews to senior management.

What We Look For

• 5–8 years of hands-on maintenance experience strictly within Pharma OSD / Gummies manufacturing.
• Deep technical knowledge of both production machinery and plant utilities.
• Strong understanding of data-driven preventive maintenance and documentation.
