Job summary

Suzlon Group in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, is seeking a proactive Maintenance Executive to support maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and plant infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, utility management, and ensuring maximum equipment availability with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, transformers, DG operations, MCC panels, ACBs, and VFD drives.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on maintenance experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Operate and maintain Transformers, DG Sets, LT Panels, MCC Panels, ACBs, VFD Drives, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick restoration of equipment.
• Interpret and work with electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Monitor power consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.
• Perform maintenance of production machinery, utility equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and material handling equipment.
• Monitor the health and performance of mechanical systems and critical equipment.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Monitor and maintain STP, WTP, and ETP operations.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
• Prepare breakdown reports, root cause analysis reports, and corrective action plans.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with stores and procurement for critical spares.
• Ensure adherence to EHS standards and safe maintenance practices.

We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Maintenance Executive to support the maintenance and reliability of manufacturing equipment, utilities, and plant infrastructure in a Wind Turbine Generator Manufacturing facility. The role requires hands‑on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, utility management, and ensuring maximum equipment availability with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance

• Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Operate and maintain Transformers, DG Sets, LT Panels, MCC Panels, ACBs, VFD Drives, and power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure quick restoration of equipment.
• Interpret and work with electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Monitor power consumption and support energy‑saving initiatives.

Mechanical Maintenance

• Perform maintenance of production machinery, utility equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and material handling equipment.
• Monitor the health and performance of mechanical systems and critical equipment.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Utility Operations

• Monitor and maintain STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), WTP (Water Treatment Plant), and ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant).
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of plant utilities and support compliance requirements.

Maintenance Planning & Documentation

• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain maintenance records.
• Prepare breakdown reports, root cause analysis reports, and corrective action plans.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with stores and procurement for critical spares.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to EHS standards and safe maintenance practices.
• Follow statutory requirements related to electrical systems and utility operations.
• Support plant audits and maintenance compliance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, transformers, DG operations, MCC panels, ACBs, and VFD drives.
• Good troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and utility equipment.
• Familiarity with STP, WTP, and ETP operations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
