Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Vadodara is seeking a Shop Engineer to maintain plant equipment, perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues, and ensure safety and quality. You will work shifts and document machine history.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree with Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering
• 4-5 years of working experience as Shop Engineering preferably in Transformer Industry
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required

Responsibilities

• Executes the assigned work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with HITACHI Energy standard processes and safety guidelines.
• The job includes regular standard maintenance of the equipment.
• Routine maintenance activities in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
• Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.

• Track maintenance KPIs like MTBF, MTTR, downtime and spare parts usage
